Reporting to the Programme Manager, we are looking for a Project Manager with significant experience in the Telecoms industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing world wide projects throughout the entire project life cycle. You will be:

About the vacancy and responsibilities
Reporting to the Programme Manager, we are looking for a Project Manager with significant experience in the Telecoms industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing world wide projects throughout the entire project life cycle. You will be:
- Managing customer expectations,
- Handling the customer communication,
- Planning the projects,
- Monitoring the P&L,
- Managing resources via matrix management,
- Managing concerns, risks and issues associated with projects and
- Reporting to senior management.
The role is based out of Grenoble and will require some travel (About 20% of the time) to client sites during the initiation and design phase as well as the commissioning phase of the project.
Profile sought
- The candidate should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer sciences or Telecommunications
- Ideally the candidate should hold of Project Management certification (PRINCE 2 / PMP)
- The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in the Telecom industry preferably in the Charging and VAS services domain.
- The candidate should have proven leadership having managed teams of more than 10 people, outsourcing tasks to 3rd parties or to off-shore teams, etc…
- The candidate should be very business aware
- The candidate should have a long track record of successful delivery of projects for Tier 1/Tier 2 operators.
- The candidate should have experience in dealing with all levels of customer representatives from C levels down to engineering.
- The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be fluent in English and French.
