About the vacancy
As End to End (E2E) test engineer you will report to the End to End Test Manager and will work closely with the other team members, such as software architect, developer, system test to ensure delivery of high-quality software modules within Volubill Product Development organization.

We are looking for test engineers with minimum 2 years experience, in particular in the field of testing and configuration/support of billing systems.

Your responsibility as E2E Test engineer is to assure that our products but also other Volubill solutions or 3rd party products leaving the product organization meets quality standards and requirements. As such, you will have the following activities:

• Testing activities:
        o Understand product specifications
        o Analyze “use cases” and business needs to write test plans
        o Ensure that the software meets the business requirements from end to end perspective
        o Provide test estimates and input to Test Manager
        o Develop necessary test tools in order to be able to accurately test 
        o Execute test cases and report problems in a defect tracking system 
        o Report and update test status promptly and accurately
        o Analyze and identify potential problems, and work closely with development team to identify and resolve technical issues 
        o Perform defect analysis
        o Participate in specific Volubill products QA process with remote R&D QA teams
        o Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
  
• Organization activities:
        o Contributing and improving our processes and tools
        o In house training of other Volubill resources on tested products (transfer of knowledge)

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree, Post graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/Software Engineering/Telecommunication/Information Technology) or equivalent,
• Required skills :
        o Sound knowledge on telecommunications products and services in the market would be an added advantage
        o Software testing within an UNIX environment would be a plus
        o Experience in testing/QA of billing projects (product or customizations) would be a plus 
        o Experience in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) would be a plus
        o Scripting experience (perl, shell) would be a plus
        o Good analytical and problem solving skills
        o Detailed oriented with a passion for quality
        o Capable of working in a very dynamic environment
• Travel to other Volubill offices could be happening on sporadic basis
• Able to work both independently and in team environment effectively
• Excellent communication skills, autonomy and fluency in English
• Ability to have good contacts with other employees, customers/partners
• Some C programming experience would be a plus (optional)
