Volubill is looking for a Level 2 Support Supervisor to participate in managing a small team of support engineers.
Supporting and servicing our customers
As Level 2 Support Supervisor you will manage a team of support engineers and ensure that the team follows and adheres to support services policies and procedures.
You should have demonstrable experience working with and mentoring a small sized team of technical staff.
You will take full ownership of support requests that come in for your team and apply troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and solve problems.
This includes liaising closely and collaboratively with the customer (internal or external) to facilitate timely resolution according to prescribed service level agreements. The Level 2 Support Supervisor will be expected to work with other Level 2 Support Supervisors and be part of a Global Support Team reporting into the Support Director.
This position is based in Atlanta, U.S.A. and may require on-site visits to customer sites, and a flexible working approach
Strong communicator with a good skill set
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar. You are fluent in English and have experience with some of the following areas:

- Supporting a UNIX environment skills (includes basic scripting skill i.e. PERL, AWK, SHELL)
- Oracle (includes installation, configuration, SQL, PL/SQL, DBA)
- Other programming (C, C++, Java, abstract data-layers)
- Network environment and mobile market (applications, protocols, components, strategies)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills is absolutely essential for this role. You have excellent communication skills, and are focused on results and customer satisfaction. Being a strong team player with a can-do attitude that always put quality in your own work is a definite plus. You will be expected to join the pager support team, as an on-call support manager, once you have been trained and authorised to do so.
