Senior Project Manager (India)Responsibilities
Reporting to the Programme Manager, we are looking for a Project Manager with significant experience in the Telecoms industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing world wide projects throughout the entire project life cycle. You will be
Managing customer expectations,
Handling the customer communication,
Planning the projects,
Monitoring the P&L,
Managing resources via matrix management,
Managing concerns, risks and issues associated with projects and
Reporting to senior management.
The role is based out of Delhi, India and will require some travel (less than 20%) to client sites during the initiation and design phase as well as the commissioning phase of the project.
Profile
• The candidate should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer sciences or Telecommunications
• Ideally the candidate should hold of Project Management certification (PRINCE 2 / PMP)
• The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in the Telecom industry preferably in the Charging and VAS services domain.
• The candidate should have proven leadership having managed teams of more than 10 people, outsourcing tasks to 3rd parties or to off-shore teams,etc…
• The candidate should be very business aware
• The candidate should have a long track record of successful delivery of projects for Tier 1/Tier 2 operators.
• The candidate should have experience in dealing with all levels of customer representatives from C levels down to engineering.
• The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be fluent in English. French would be plus.
