Senior Implementation Engineer (India)Responsibilities
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, we are looking for senior implementation engineers with minimum 5 years experience in implementation, delivery and operation of telecommunication / IT / Network solutions.
Your responsibility as senior implementation engineer is as member of the projects team to work closely with the Solution Architects and Project Managers to ensure that Charge it™ solution is delivered successfully to our customers. You will be responsible for:
• Project activities:
- Integrating the solution in our lab and test it prior to shipment,
- Assemble onsite the solution and test it,
- Integrate the solution within its ecosystem (network, BSS/OSS),
- Prepare and bring it successfully through SAT/UAT and cutover phases,
- Support the customer’s solution onsite or remotely,
- Document the different steps of the project implementation,
- Handover the project to our support team,
• Delivery organization activities:
- Contributing and improving our processes and tools
- Support to Solution Architects group on upgrade projects
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree, Post graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/Telecommunication) or equivalent,
• Required skills :
- Internet protocols,
- Basic Linux/Unix,
- Networking (routing, switches) or advanced Linux/Unix (system admin, …)
- Good track record in implementation, deliveries of IT/Telecom solutions,
- Good track record in acceptance phases of IT/Telecom solutions,
- Ability to deliver training to various audiences (internal, customers, …)
- Usage of support ticket tracking tool
• Preferred skill(s):
- CCNA, CCNP,
- Linux/Unix certifications
- Billing or Network projects with Telco
- Knowledge of Data Charging for Mobile telco
- Experience in implementation of Charge it or competing products
• Presence on site will be required for duration up to 8 weeks
• Excellent communication skills, autonomy, totally fluent in English
• Ability to create and maintain good contacts with customers/partners
• Role based in Delhi or Mumbai or Hyderabad, India
• Applicants must be Indian citizens or permanent residents
