Volubill is searching for a senior C++ developer with 4-7 years experience and who believes can make a difference in our development team. Our team develops, tests, and documents the Volubill Business System (VBS) product in Denmark.
About our company
Volubill provides real-time monitoring, policy, control and charging software to communication providers around the world. This enables competitive differentiation and rapid time to revenue for data, content, VoIP and messaging services, leading to decreased customer churn and increased customer acquisition.
Our vision is to become the leading global supplier of charging and control solutions for pre-, post- and now-pay environments for all fixed, mobile and fixed-mobile convergent (FMC) environments, irrespective of the underlying network technology including WiMAX, IMS, IP, CDMA, GSM and 3G.
About the position
As developer you will participate in all the development phases. You use your experience to influence and develop our solutions - from user interface to core functionality. Typically you will work within a project that runs 3 to 6 months. Your seniority enables you to work on multiple project and support activities in parallel. Our project communication is open and your views and ideas are appreciated.
Your work areas will be primary:
Your competence profile
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar. You have more than 4 years experience programming in C++ on UNIX (Solaris/HP-UX) or Linux, Data protocols and Database interface programming (Oracle/SQL). Java programming experience is an advantage. You feel comfortable in speaking and writing in both Danish and English.
You are as person
You are ready to engage in all phases of the process, from analysis to test. You put quality in code, but also support in getting quality in technical end-user documentation. It is an advantage to have telecom experience. Furthermore you are:

- Design and development of complex C++ solutions
- Maintenance and support of delivered solutions
- Improve and upgrade existing solutions
Your competence profile

You have more than 4 years experience programming in C++ on UNIX (Solaris/HP-UX) or Linux, Data protocols and Database interface programming (Oracle/SQL). Java programming experience is an advantage. You feel comfortable in speaking and writing in both Danish and English.
