Volubill Survey Explores Subscriber Satisfaction with Current Mobile Data Package Offerings
Consumers Invited to Share Expectations for How They Want to be Offered Mobile Data Access and Applications from Operators
London – May 21, 2013 – Volubill, the leading provider of charging and policy solutions, announced today that it has launched an online survey to identify how mobile subscribers would like to access data services from their providers. The survey, ‘Data Download: Are You Getting the Mobile Service You Crave?’ is designed to explore customers’ preferences for balancing mobile data pricing, usage volume, application access, service features, and convenience. The survey will be conducted from May 21, 2013, until August 13, 2013 and all survey respondents will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad 2. The survey can be taken online at http://conta.cc/1a0gw5g.
With market research predicting mobile data will increase 13-fold by 2017, it’s not uncommon for operators to limit the type of data package offered to customers in an effort to protect network capacity. With this survey, consumers are given a platform to express how they would like to consume their data and simultaneously, through the results, operators are granted unprecedented insight into how they might better offer services that balance customer desires, remain profitable and manage the traffic deluge.
Among the issues touched upon in this survey are: service features customers value most, the importance of long-term contracts versus unlimited data plans, demand for turbo button options and plans that offer application-specific pricing, and subscribers’ overall level of satisfaction with current mobile data offerings.
