Overview
Volubill’s CHARGE-IT Service Controller (SC) is a real-time router-based deep packet inspection, service control, quota monitoring and dialogue management platform. It handles customer usage of any IP service including data, content, MMS, P2P, Voice over IP (VoIP), Video, downloads and messaging.
CHARGE-IT SC supports:
CHARGE-IT SC uses deep and shallow packet inspection to understand user data activity in perspective of service destination/source, service type or application content (Layer 7/8), protocols, bandwidth occupied, current location and traffic patterns. At the subscriber level CHARGE-IT Service Controller is then able to initiate charging, monitor quotas, invoke dialogue, redirect / filter traffic and allow/deny service access.

- Metering based on flat-subscription, event, session, application, destination, location, throughput, usage thresholds, pre-priced content and QoS levels (plus more).
- Provision of multiple mechanisms for efficient and effective interactive dialogue with customers for payment management, advice of charge/service and service feedback.
- Seamless and rapid deployment that is independent of the core access network and integrates with existing charging, IN, policy and billing infrastructure.
- Standards for 2.5G, 3G, LTE, WiMAX and fixed broadband/ISP networks.
